Barbara C (Bobbie) Adam, 61, of Independence, Ks passed away at her home Monday, February 17, 2015.
A celebration of life service will be Monday, February 23, 2015 at Potts Chapel of Independence with Pastor Don Adam officiating. Burial will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday February 22, 2015 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, with family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Barbara C (Tennyson) Adam was born May 7, 1953 in Chanute, Ks the daughter of Forrest D Tennyson Sr. and Orella (Ford) Tennyson. She attended schools in Cherryvale graduating in 1971 from Cherryvale High School and she also attended Independence Jr. College.
On March 10, 1973 she was united in marriage to Michael Adam in Independence, Ks were they made their home.
She is survived by her husband, Michael of the home, one son Caleb Adam of the home, two daughters, Natasha Esquivel of Independence Ks and Courtney Tovar of Fredonia Ks, one sister Cassandra McKellips of Manhattan Ks and three brothers, Forrest D Tennyson Jr. of Coffeyville Ks., Marion Tennyson of Erie Ks, and David Tennyson of Independence KS, 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one grandchild.
Memorials can be made to the Solid Rock Baptist Church at Second and Cedar Street of Independence, Ks and may left at Potts Chapel of Independence Ks.
