Sheadrack Stigger, 77, died Saturday in the Radford Community Hospital. He is survived by five
daughters, Mrs. Olivia Casey of Washington, D.C.,
Mrs. Margaret James, Falls Church; Mrs. Bertha Hackett, and Mrs. Helen Harvey, both of New River; Mrs. Clara Hopkins of Christiansburg; two sons, the Rev. Thomas Stigger, Maryland; Governor Stigger, New River; one sister, Mrs. Golah Harvey, New River; three brothers, Levi Stigger,
New River; Frank Stigger and Alex Stigger, both of Anawalt, W. Va.; 21 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral will be Wednesday 2
p.m. at the First Missionary Baptist Church at New River with the Rev. Paul Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Seaver Sanders Funeral Home.
