Robert attended three years at the University of Washington and served in the U.S. Army.
He worked in the Transportation Dept. at the Evergreen School District and was a member of the Teamsters Union and American Legion.
Robert enjoyed coin collecting, nature, and anything outdoors - hunting, fishing, clamming, mushroom picking.
Robert is survived by his son, Howard Alexander; three grandchildren, Natalie, Richard, Evan; one great-grandchild, Olivia; and his sister, Barbara Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Richard Alexander; and his brothers, William, Jim, and Dick.
A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Sat., Feb. 21, 2015 at 12:30 p.m.
