Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 8 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. Tuesday. Religious services at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Smith. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Alma Devall Bonaventure; a daughter, Mrs. Norman (Catherine) Ritchie, Birmingham, Ala.; a son and daughter-in-law, Gary W. and Palma Bonaventure, Liberty, Miss.; two sisters, Mrs. Agatha Guillaume, Ventress, and Mrs. Addie Long, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Jack and Ellis Bonaventure, both of Baton Rouge; and two grandchildren, Sheila Rochelle Bonaventure and Edward Joseph Bonaventure II. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, and a sister. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus Council No. 2807, and Exxon Annuitant Club.
