Elmer S. Borgstrom, 84, formerly of Rt.2, Maple Lake died Friday at Aneheim, California.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 3 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Middleville Township with Rev. Orville Horn officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Buffalo.
Reviewal was from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Dingmann Funeral Home, Maple Lake, with a prayer service at 8 p.m.
He is survived by three children: Chester of Aneheim, California; Mrs Don (Marion) Kloss of Maple Lake; and Mrs. Henry (Hazel) Wessling of Maple Lake. Also by 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Athur Borgstrom of St. Paul.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha, and two infant brothers. Borgstrom was born July 12, 1895 to the late Hjalmer and Betsy (Eck) Borgstrom in Wright County.
He married Bertha E. Hoppe Oct. 29, 1925 at Winsted. She preceded him in death on July 12, 1978.
He was a farmer and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
He was a lifetime resident of Wright County until moving to live with his son in Aneheim, Calif. Sept 1, 1978.
