The funeral of the late Edwin A. Kennedy was held today from his late residence, 141 South Eight street. Following the services at the home, the remains were conveyed to Oak Hill Cemetery for interment.
Mr. Kenney was 62 years old and had been a resident of San Jose for many years. He serve as deputy sheriff of this county under the late James H. Lyndon and was later appointed county license collector. More recently he had been engaged in private detective work and has occasionally been employed as a deputy constable. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Minerva M. Kennedy, and by four children: Mrs. S. W. Tay of Honolulu, James F. and Robert F. Kennedy and Mrs. Clarence C. Bray of Santa Clara.
