Gloria M. Williams (Shearer), 75, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 29, 1939, in Chambersburg, PA.
She is the daughter of the late Harvey D. and Nina M. Shearer.
Gloria worked many years at Greenray Industries in Mechanicsburg.
She enjoyed spending time with her 4 grandchildren whenever she could.
She is a member of the Camp Hill Church of God.
She was a graduate of Big Spring High School, class of 1957.
She was a beautiful person, inside and out.
She loved to have family around so she could cook a huge meal for them.
She would make special treats for the family when she knew they were coming to visit.
Gloria was a loving wife to her husband, Richard E. Williams, who preceded her in death.
She will be missed dearly by her three children. She has four grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, 2 brothers.
She had 2 brothers who preceded her in death: Harvey Donald Shearer and Kenneth Shearer.
Her loving Williams family will also miss her tremendously.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Feb. 20 at Camp Hill Church of God.
The entombment will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.
There will be a viewing from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Thursday at Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Canine Rescue of Central PA, Inc., P.O. Box 129 Dillsburg, PA
