Herald Coaster, January 20, 1989:

Funeral services for Gracie Sneed, age 48, of Tomball, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Graeber Road Church of Christ in Rosenberg. Officiating the service will be Allan Hahn. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Sneed died Tuesday at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital in Houston. The former resident of Rosenberg was a member of the Tomball Church of Christ.

Mrs. Sneed is survived by her husband, Vernon, and five children, Earl Sneed of Rosenberg, James Sneed of Missouri City, David Sneed of Oakdale, Conn., Barbara Sneed of Tomball, and Teresa Gibson of Belvedere, S.C. Also surviving are her mother, Ruth Rowe, and sister, Betty Pannell, both of Lubbock, and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg.

Memorials may be made to the American Federation of Schleroderma (through the Arthritis Foundation).

Services are under the direction of the Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors in Rosenberg.
