Metcalfe Rites To Be Held Sunday
Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Metcalfe, 73 years old, will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the University Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Cleveland Kleihauer, pastor of the University Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Washelli Cemeterty.
Mrs. Metcalfe died last Tuesday in Lewiston, Idaho. she had lived in Seattle for twenty-five years. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. JC Parsons, 845 E. 91st St., and Mrs. Martha Hyde of Lewiston, and a son R.E. Metcalfe, resident at the Dorne Hotel.

University District Grocer Will Be Buried Sunday
Funeral services for James H. Metcalfe, 63 years old, member of the Metcalfe & Metcalfe grocers, of the University District, who died yesterday morning at his home, 4526 11th Ave NE, will be held tomorrow afternoon at University Undertaking Parlors, followed by burial at Washelli Cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nannie M. Metcalfe, two sons, James A. Metcalfe Jr., and Roy Metcalfe, partners with their father in business, and four daughters, Mrs. FL King of Ferndale, and Mrs Marshall Hyde, Mrs JC Carson, and Miss Ruth Metcalf, all of Seattle.
Mr. Metcalfe had been a resident of Seattle for 14 years, during the greater part of which he was in business in the University District.
