Harvey Tolbert "Todie" Washington died in Wellington Thursday, November 29, 2001. He was 90 years of age at his death.
Mr. Washington was born December 21, 1910 to Pet and Ozora Graham Washington in Lyman, OK. A long time resident, he came to Wellington at an early age with his family. He attended school in Lyman and in Wellington. He married Corean Smith, December 14, 1949 in Muskogee, OK.
He worked as a fence builder for many years and also at the Traders Compress for 30 years. He is a past member of the Masonic Lodge and was a member of the Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church where he served as Deacon.
He was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Corean, of Wellington; two sons James McIntosh of Los Angeles, CA and Charles McIntosh of Wellington; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews including Jean Herndon of Albuquerque, NM, Dorothy Givens of Elk Grove, CA and Frances Bishop of Vallejo, CA.
