Carl J. Indermuehle, 94, of 545 Luco Road, died Nov. 16, 2008, at Hospice Home of Hope. He was born Oct. 15, 1914, in Fond du Lac, a son of the late Charles H. and Lena Streit Indermuehle. On June 13, 1936, he married Marcella L. Miller, and on May 27, 1995, he married Wanda A. Kibbel, both of whom preceded him in death. Carl was employed at Quicfrez, Inc. (formerly Sanitary Refrigerator Co.) as plant manager, was co-owner of Pikes Peak Concrete Products of Colorado Springs, CO, and for 17.5 years, was with Mercury Marine as the plant engineer, and later as manager of environmental compliance for all Mercury Marine facilities. Carl was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. He was active for 45 years in Kiwanis International, holding several offices, he served on the Fond du Lac Senior Citizens Advisory Committee, was vice president of the Fond du Lac Industrial Safety Council, served as president of the Fond du Lac Hammond Organ Society and was a member of the Lakefooters Square Dance Club. Survivors include son, David (Marilyn), Schofield, WI; daughter, Charlene (Gary) Reitz, Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Jeffery (Christine) Reitz, Campbellsport WL Lisa (David) Bohovsky, Hartford, WI; and sisters, Frieda Bloedorn and Mary (Robert) Bohlman, both of Fond du Lac; nephews and nieces, John (Jackie) Fletcher and Mary Smith, both of Colorado Springs, CO, Sandra Horine and Debra (Curt) Heller, all of Fond du Lac, Jeanne (William) Janis, Citrus Heights, CA, Linda (Tom) Schmitz, Mount Calvary, Louis (Kathy) Zacherl, Jr., Broomfield, CO, Michael (Julie) Zacherl, Hancock, WI, John (Susan) Zacherl, (Melanie) Zacherl, and Peter (Jennifer) Zacherl, all of Fond du Lac; stepchildren, Kathy (Charles) Wilke, Campbellsport, Otto (Mary) Tulowitzky, Fond du Lac, Norman (Brenda) KibbeL Brandon, and Violet (John) Russell, Rosendale. Preceding Carl in death were his parents; wives, Marcella and Wanda; and sister, Rose Fletcher; brothers-in-law, Earl Fletcher, Vernon Dauterman, Louis Zacherl and Charles Bloedorn; niece, Elizabeth (Liza) Servelle; and nephew, Joseph ZacherL Visitation: Visitation for Mr. Indermuehle will be Thursday, Nov 20, 2008, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac. Visitation will also be held Friday Nov. 21, 2008, at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent St., Fond du Lac, from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Services: Funeral Services will be Friday, Nov. 21, 11 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church. The Rev Arthur Callies will officiate.
