Adolph John Boehmer, 89, Rich Fountain, died Friday [2/2/1990] at Jefferson City Manor Care Center, Jefferson City. He was born June 24, 1900, in Rich Fountain, a son of Henry and Anna Klebba Boehmer. On Nov. 10, 1925, he was married in Freeburg to Cecilia Kloeppel, who died March 4, 1944. H was a retired dairy farmer in the Rich Fountain area. He had served more than 50 years as a member of the board of Directors of the Three Rivers Electric Cooperative, Linn. He served several years as judge of the Osage County Court. He was chairman of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) in Osage County. He was a member of the board of directors of the Sanitary Milk Producers Association. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Rich Fountain. He also was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He had attended Sacred Heart School in Rich Fountain. Survivors include: three sons, John Boehmer, Livermore, Calif., George Boehmer, Frankfurt, West Germany, and Alex Boehmer, Rich Fountain; four daughters, Catherine Boillot, Camdenton, Gerry Neeley and Lil Boehmer both of Jefferson City, and Bernie Lootens, Taos; 21 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rich Fountain. The Rev. Donald Lammers will officiate. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery, Rich Fountain. Wake serices will be at 7 p.m. today at the Morton Funeral Home chapel, Linn. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Rich Fountain Sacred Heart Catholic Church Property Improvement Fund." [JCNP, 02/04/1990]
