Dale Alexander, 68, of Richland passed away doing one of the things he love best on Saturday, September 27, 2014. He was born on January 4, 1946, the son of Dale Clayton Alexand and Ruth (Demersseman) Mercedes.

Dale graduated from Robbinsdale High School in Robbinsdale, MN in 1964. He attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical Institute in Florida and had a long career in flying with his last 25 years spent at Kellogg Aviation retiring in 2006. He was a recreational pilot until the day he died. He was a member of many pilot organizations.

Dale is survived by his wife of 34 years-Michelle (Terkos) Alexander of Richland, Michigan. Daughter, Marcy (Keith) Shafer; three sisters, Lynne Rayner, Barbara (Jeff) Sowden, Nancy Bye; Brother, Robert (Jill) Bye and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Father and Mother.

Dale enjoyed flying above all else. He also loved golfing, biking, reading, skydiving, sailing, traveling all over and spending time with his family and friends.
