Funeral services for Louise Wright, 90, are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Lake Tyler Baptist Church, with Rev. Sherman Mayfield officiating. Burial will be in Whitehouse Cemetery under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van. Visitation will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, prior to services.
Mrs. Wright passed away on February 13, 2015 in Whitehouse.
Tommie Louise Wright was born May 25, 1924 in Athens, TX to the late Thomas Aaron McGlaun and Jewel Mae Slayton McGlaun. She had lived in Whitehouse most of her life, was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxilary of the VFW. She was preceded in death by a brother, Malcomb McGlaun.
Survivors include her husband, Verble Wright of Whitehouse; three daughters, Shirley Black of Whitehouse, Donna Kelly of Troup and Pam Jordan and husband, Jeff of Whitehouse; two brothers, Bud McGlaun of Tyler and Adrian McGlaun and wife, Mary Lee of Whitehouse and Alice Godwin of Athens; six grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Black, Chuck Clague, Todd Kelly, Cody Driggers, Joey Clague and Michael Hampton.
