Charles Edward Adams, son of James Horton and Mary Lou Adams Horton, was born January 10, 1956 in Benton Harbor, Michigan. He departed life February 13, 2015 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 59 years, 1 month and 3 days. He spent his life as a son, brother, father, grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, he was employed as a steel mill worker in Garry, Indiana.
He is survived by one son: Douglas Adams of Jacksonville, Florida; one daughter; Chrissy Adams of Chesterton, Indiana; three half brothers: Jimmie Horton and Randy Horton of Oxford, Arkansas and Larry Horton of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; two sisters: Irene Parnell of Oxford, Arkansas and Sherry Chastain of Illinois and a host of many grandchildren and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his half sisters Linda Parnell and Betty Horton
Graveside funeral service will be Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Oxford Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
