Orrie Evans Funeral Is Held From Family Home
The funeral of Orrie Evans was held yesterday afternoon at the family home, 717 North Sumner avenue. The Rev. Dr. A. D. Upton, pastor of Plymouth Congregational church officiated, and interment was in Dunmore cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were: County Commissioners Morgan Thomas and Louis VonBergen, Irving Lewis, John H. Williams, and William Morgan, Philadelphia.
Active pallbearers were: Roy and Ralph Williams, Bert Fellows, Mr. Lavelle, Thomas Evans, and Chester Stover. The flowers were carried by Frank Jones, William Thomas, Thomas Mathias, and William Long.
