SEPULVEDA - Scott Lorrain Hilliard, 82, died Thursday Nov 13, 2003.

Born Sep 4, 1921, in Rockland, PA. he lived in Sepulveda for three years. He lived in Valley Center for 29 years previously. He retired in 1974 as an aircraft maintenance person for the U.S. Air Force from 1942 to 1974 as CWO4.

Mr. Hilliard was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Lee Eglenick Hilliard, in 1951, sister Marrtha Gaster, and brother Clair Hilliard.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law. (Note: He adopted his sister's daughter to help her out) Sandra Hilliard of Oxnard, Karen Lenox of Portland, OR., and Julie and Tony Lopez of Grand Junction, Colo.;sisters and brother-in-law Barbara and Bob Landis of Shelbyville, TN., Mary Haun of Fairborn, Ohio, Yvonne Yeager of Polk, PA., and Beverly Lenox of Bend, OR.; and two grandchildren

A chapel service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, Nov 18, at the Alhiser-Coner Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Richard Huls officiating.

Burial will be at 11 am Friday, Nov 21, at Fort Lincoln Funeral Home and Cemetery in Brentwood, MD.
