Laura Lee McCarty, 87, of Monticello, KY, and widow of James Clinton McCarty, died Fri., Feb. 6, 2015 Henderson, NV. Born April 22, 1927 in Carlisle, KY, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Mary Francis Ritchie Crawford. Mrs. McCarty was a member of Boones Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Harry J. (Betty) McCarty, Monticello, KY and Leonard D. (Sue) McCarty, Henderson, NV; four grandchildren, James McCarty, Jennifer McCarty-Palumbo, James Andrew McCarty, and Shawna McCarty; ten great grandchildren; and six sisters, Roxie Colliver, Helen Evans, Diane Sams, Beulah Curtis, Joyce Fraser, and Juanita Lear. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Geneva Bellamy and Lena Curtis
