Mrs. Bauknight died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Park Place Hospital. She was a native of Jennings, La. and had lived in Shreveport over 40 years before moving to Port Arthur eight years ago. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Port Arthur.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. Lowry (Dorothy) Freeman of Port Arthur; one granddaughter, a niece and a nephew."
