Obituary for Michael P. Keefe Mike, 57, passed away February 9th, 2015 after a brave battle with cancer. He was born in Port Washington on November 2, 1957 to Pat and Flossie Keefe. He was married for 25 years to his loving wife, Debbie Keefe (Schmit). Mike was a proud father to Nick, Zach, Andrea, and Alex (Bubby) Keefe. He was the second oldest in a family of ten children.

Mike had an infectious laugh and a smile that could light up a room. He had a true heart of gold that touched everyone who knew him. When Mike was… not winning Salesman of the Year at Grand Appliance, he was enjoying time outdoors. Mike was in his element when he was up north at his family’s cabin on the lake. He welcomed all his friends and family to share his love for the cabin. Mike also had a true passion for turkey hunting. For the last ten years, he helped organize a very successful Learn to Hunt Turkey Program for the NWTF.

Mike is the adored son-in-law of Ralph and Gloria Schmit. He is survived by nine siblings: Toni (Pat) McKinnon, Tim (Kim) Keefe, Jason (Laurie) Keefe, Shawn (Chris) Keefe, Stephanie (Dale) Schueller, Amy (Scott) Christian, Sarah (Shane) Schigur, Mary (Bill) Davis, and Jenny Keefe. He is further survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law: Connie (Mike) Weiland, Randy (Kay) Schmit, Jodi (Ronnie) Plier, Jeff (Angel) Schmit, and Brenda (Eric) Schneider. Mike is also survived by 41 nieces and nephews, six great nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

The visitation is on Friday, February 13 from 3-7pm at the Mueller Funeral Home, in Grafton. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., in Grafton. In lieu of flowers, memorials of your choice are appreciated.
