Obituary for Mr. Jewel Wayne "George" Adams

Jewel Wayne “George” Adams, age 67, of Dawson Springs, KY passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, Kentucky.
He was born on August 24, 1941 in Dawson Springs, KY to Jewel Martin Adams and Edna Earl Howton Adams. Mr. Adams worked and retired as a coalminer for Pyro Costain Coal.
He loved his family, enjoyed gardening, was an avid outdoorsman, and appreciated the simple things in life. Mr. Adams was a Jehovah Witness and he was always glad to share his faith with others.

Mr. Adams is survived by four daughters ~ Tracy (Jimmy) Walker of Princeton, KY, Ashley (Dan) Jones of Dawson Springs, KY, Amanda ( Kevin) McCoy of Eddyville, KY, and Chasity Oldham of Dawson Springs, KY; three sons ~ Steven (Marla) Adams of Princeton, KY, Lee (Penny) Adams of Princeton, KY, and John “Duffy” Adams of Dawson Springs, KY; and a brother ~ Norman (Sissy) Adams of Dawson Springs, KY; twenty one grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

There will be a public visitation on Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, KY, And, there will be a memorial service held at 3:00 PM at Beshear Funeral Home.
