Loving father, grandfather & great grandfather. He is survived by his children, daughter Debra Rainey, grandkids, Ronnie, Justin. Son, Edward & Nancy Kerr Jr., grandkids, Teddy, Kelly, Kristopher. Son, James & Julia Kerr, grandkids, Jennifer, James Jr, daughter, Anita & David Murray, grandkids, Michael, Savannah. Nieces, Sylvia Gonzalez & Sandra Alvarado & 9 great grandkids. Family friend, Alejandra DeJesus. His sisters Joan Balthazar, Eileen Rose, Ann DeCouta, & Dianne Kleinberger. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Rachel Tello Kerr. His parents Charles Kerr Sr. & Eileen (Bagge) Kerr, siblings Charles Kerr Jr., Sheila Veradt, Robert Kerr. We look forward to seeing him again. Rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
He served in the USAF from 5 Apr 1950-31 Aug 1974, Ret. MSgt. served in Vietnam, received the Bronze Star.
Visitation will be held Monday, Feb 16,2015 at Castle Ridge Mortuary from 3:00-8:00pm. Services will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, Feb 17,2015 at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church with interment at 11:30am at Ft Sam Houston National Cemetery. Donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
