Mr.Charles Dewayne Sowell, age 50, was born August 25, 1964, in Houston, Texas to Alton and Patsy (Hathcoat) Sowell. He entered into rest at his residence in San Augustine County, Texas on February 7, 2015.
Charles was of the Pentecostal faith. Before becoming disabled he was an OTR truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Sowell of San Augustine; sons, Chris Sowell and wife Ashley of Chireno, Texas, Jeffery Sowell and wife Jamie of Greenwood, Arkansas, and Terrance Sowell of Chireno, Texas; stepchildren, Latisha Thebeau of San Augustine, Texas, Heather Cope and David Cope - both of Missouri; grandchildren,Aiden, Camryn, Christopher, Alexis, Heaven, David, Brayden, and Mariah; mother, Patsy Bennefield and husband Hovie of Broaddus, Texas; brothers, Curtis Sowell and wife Jinny of Huntington, Texas, Mike Sowell and wife Linda of Lufkin, Texas; sister, Nancy Whitmore and husband Mike of San Augustine, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Lee Sowell and grandson, Hunter Brian Sowell.
