Zachariah SOULE
1625–1663
BIRTH ABT. 1625 • Plymouth, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA
DEATH ABT. 1663 • Duxbury, Plymouth Colony, Massachusetts, USA

Marriage: Margaret Foord, dau. of William on 22 November 1646 in Duxbury, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA

According to several references, the most authoritative being "George Soule of the Mayflower and His Descendants for Four Generations" by the General Society of Mayflower Descendants [a.k.a. Mayflower Silver Books]. (1) Zachariah was born before 22 May 1627, ca 1625, the date of the division of cattle and goats where he was listed with his parents, George & Mary Soule. (2) The same source has "before 11 Dec 1663" the date his effects were inventoried so his DOD would be about 1663. (3) Finally, some records indicate he died on a "Canadian Expedition." I have found no support for such an event in 1663, only in 1690. “New France 1663-1744” by Sanderson Beck, indicates the Mohawks were attacked by the Massachusetts Puritans & their Christian Indian allies in 1663.
