Mary Russell Myers, 85, Eldon, formerly of Ulman, died Saturday at Miller County Nursing Home in Tuscumbia. She was born March 27, 1906, at Ulman, a daughter of J.M. and Maude Thompson Hendricks. She was married June 2, 1922, in Jefferson City to Calvin P. Myers, who died Nov. 27, 1973.

She lived in Ulman most of her life before moving to Eldon in 1984. She had been a resident of Miller County Nursing Home for 10 months. She was a member of the Ulman Christian Church and the Ulman Useful Union, chairman of the Ulman Super Senior Citizens and president/chairman of the Miller County OATS chapter for many years.

Survivors include: two sons, James Myers, Ulman, and Don Myers, Eldon; one daughter, Mary Martin, Owensville; one brother, Archie Hendricks, Eldon; one sister, Letha Thompson, Kansas City, Kan.; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home in Iberia, Brother Jim Kruse will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery, near Iberia. Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. and from noon-1 p.m. Wednesday.
