Clara Marie Fenn Bowden, age 91, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2015 at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Sr. Villa. Clara was born May 23, 1923 in Montwell to Milton and Ella Labrum Fenn.

She married Byron Alfred Bowden on December 2, 1941, their marriage was later solemnized in the Vernal LDS Temple.

Byron passed away March 7, 1982. They had 3 daughters. Clara was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved camping and they did a lot before Byron had his stroke. They always planned on being camp hosts after he retired. Clara loved watching baseball on TV. She also loved watching her grandsons play sports and rarely missed a game. She enjoyed embroidering and doing word search puzzles. Since being in the Villa she looked forward to playing bingo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Byron, brother Devan Fenn, and a sister Helen Larsen.

Clara will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. She was a kind, loving lady.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service.

Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
