I have not yet found a gravesite for Thomas Milton Davis, but will record his biography here, hoping it can be transferred to a more permanent memorial someday.

THOMAS MILTON DAVIS, Sr, was the child of Lindsey and Sarah (Fentress) Davis.
He was born in Randolph County, North Carolina, in about 1828. He moved with his family to Van Buren County, Arkansas, sometime before 1850. By 1860, he was living with his birth family in Gonzales County, Texas.

Thomas enlisted in Texas Company B (CSA) on 30 September 1862.

Thomas Milton and Ellenor Ann Davis had at least 5 children:
Thomas Milton Davis, Jr. born about 1864;
Lindsay Davis, born about 1867;
Mary E. Davis, born about 1869;
Margaret Davis, born about 1872;
and Lucretia Davis, born about 1876.

In her 1912 application for Confederate Widow's Pension, eighty-year-old Ellenor tells the judge that she and Thomas were living in Merkel, Texas, in Taylor County, when he died on May 1, 1900.
