Clarence M. "Boots" Walsh, 60, 435 Independence Street, died last night in Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient 10 days. He resided here for the past 40 years and was an employe of the Cumberland Brewing Company for 35 years. A native of Frostburg, he was a son of the late James E. and Ellen (Arnold) Walsh. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Surviving, besides his widow, Mrs. Margaret (Boyle) Walsh, are a daughter. Miss Mary Ellen Walsh, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Shinholtz, city and Mrs. Fannie Densock, Akron; a brother, Frank Walsh, Frostburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at the Kight Funeral Home.

A requiem mass for Clarence M. Walsh, 60, of 435 Independence Street, who died Thursday in Memorial Hospital, was celebrated this morning in St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas A. Hardesty, assistant pastor, as celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Seitz, Douglas McCoy, William Barham, John Phillips, Clifford Bennett and Charles O'Toole.
