Funeral services for James C. D. Goff, Sr., age 91, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2015 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
Mr. Goff died February 4, 2015 at Maplewood Health Care.
He was born in Enville, TN, son of the late Thomas Elias and Janie Gulliams Goff, and was educated in the local schools. Mr. Goff was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired Locksmith and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Willie Mae Tucker Goff on April 29, 2001; a son, J. D. Goff. Jr. in 2013, and sisters, Josie Bullman and Delia Young.
