Terri was born June 11, 1944 in Galesburg, Ill., Cottage Hospital to Kenneth and Vesper Gardner.
Terri married Harold Abel, Jr. Sept. 29, 1979 in Three Rivers.
Surviving loved ones are children, Pamela May of Fort Wayne, Ind. Veronica (May) Jackson of White Pigeon and Danny Joe Abel of Three Rivers; step-children, Skip Abel of Three Rivers, Angie Abel and Billy June of Three Rivers; sister, Janice (Gardner) Inman of Cobden, Ill.; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Abel, Jr.; mother and father, Kenneth and Vesper Gardner of Galesburg, Ill. and sister, Sharon (Gardner) Stanard of Princeton, Ill.
She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles since 1983 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 26 years.
A memorial service for Terri will be held at the American Legion Auxiliary, 1701 S. Main St., Three Rivers, on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. A silent auction will also be held at this time with all proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society and American Liver Foundation in Terri and Harold Abel's name.
