Funeral services were held today
at the East Dublin Baptist Church
for Mrs. Joe B . Ford Sr, 86, who
died Friday at the residence of her
son, Joe B. Ford Jr , in Mllledgeville.
The Rev. W E. Flanders and
the Rev. C. E . Croft officiated, and
burial was in the Marvin Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rhodus Fulford,
Felder Fulford, J.Z. Thomas, Tillman
Hester, Buddy Hester, and Avery
Maddox.
Mrs. Ford was born and reared in
Laurens County and before her
marriage was Miss. Callie Ford. She
was a member of the East Dublin
Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Joe B.
Ford of Millegeville, Rt. 3; one grand
daughter, Miss Helen Ford of Tampa
Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Brown,
Dublin Route 2, and Mrs. Emma Dixon,
Dublin, Route 5.
