Iola was the daughter of John Henry Baxter (1823 Canada, d 1908) and Martha Irish (1822 VT, d 1890). She married Morris Kimble on 26 October 1873 in Anamosa, Jones, Iowa. They were the parents of Minnie.

Carroll Times - Thursday , January 1st, 1925 - Mrs. M. Kimble of Glidden, formerly of this city, passed away at her home Sunday. Mrs. Kimble had not been well for the last two years, suffering with stomach disturbance. She took to her bed Christmas day, at which time she suffered a slight stroke.

Funeral services were held in Glidden Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Mrs. Kimble is survived by her husband and one daughter, Minnie. Mrs. William Bedford and Mrs. George Maze left for Glidden Monday and remained with the family until after the funeral.
