Daughter of Christian M. and Hester Ann Force Hoover, she was single, lived on 13th St, Franklin, died there of tuberculosis meningitis and intestinal tuberculosis, per death certificate 77257, whose informant was Ruth B. Moffett of Franklin. Buried Aug 9 1921.

Franklin News-Herald, Monday, Aug 8 1921:
Miss Elizabeth Hoover, died at 8:30 pm Saturday at her apartment, 425 13th Street, after an illness of three years. Daughter of Christian M. and Hester A. Hoover, she was born in Franklin.

She lived here all her life, enjoyed a wide acquaintanceship, and for a number of years, until failing health prevented it, had worked at the Court House, first in the commissioners' office, then in the Register and Recorder's office, the latter during the terms of H. G. Johnson. Of quiet disposition and never in robust health, she lived a life of comparative reserve, enjoying the friendships of those who had come to known her during her years here. She attended services at First Methodist Episcopal Church as health permitted.

Surviving are sister, Miss Ina Hoover and Mrs. Gertrude A. Bowen, and a brother, James P. Hoover of Franklin; and a niece, Mrs. George K. Moffett.

Service will be at 10:30 am Tuesday. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
