Mary Irvin Bough, 83, of Spencer and formerly of Bloomfield, passed away at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005 at her residence at McCormick Creek.
Born Sept. 3, 1921 in Adena, Ohio, she was the daughter of Ernest L. and Mary (Zimmerman) Irvin. She had been married to William F. Bough, who passed away in 1983.
She was a bookkeeper for Jordan & Vaught Insurance Company in Bloomfield. She was a member of Bloomfield United Methodist Church, Bloomfield Order of Eastern Star, Past Matrons Club, American Legion Auxiliary in Bloomfield, and Delta Theta Tau.
Survivors include: a daughter Cathy and her husband David McFarland of Ellettsville; a grandson Seth McFarland of Bloomington; and a nephew Jack Irvin of Weirton, W. Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William F. Bough, a brother Carol "Butch" Irvin, and a son William Bough II.
There will be no memorial services nor visitation. Burial will be in Flater Cemetery, Bloomfield
