Rebecca Cox Mills, 77, of 734 Fisher Farm Road, Martinsville, died Friday, July 25, 2003 at Morehead Hospital in Eden, N.C. A native of Henry County, she was born on July 6, 1916, a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Cox and the late Hattie Mae Cox. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Holley and Vastie Royster, and a brother, Daniel R. Cox.
Her survivors include her husband, Warren Mills of the home; a son, Edd W. Mills of Martinsville; a brother, Emmett Cox of Martinsville, and a granddaughter.
She was a graduate of Ridgeway High School and a member of Fontaine Baptist Church.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Fontaine Baptist Church with Revs. Oscar Adams and Darrell Hunley officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the church and other times at the home.
