Mr. Ferree died Saturday at his home at Hayden Lake.
Born at York, Nebraska, he came to the Coeur d'Alene area from Salt Lake City in 1949. He had been a rancher in the Hayden Lake area for many years.
Mr. Ferree was a former member of the Coeur d'Alene Eagles Aerie and the Golden Agers Club.
His wife, Mary Ferree, died in 1973. Three children preceded him in death.
Survivors include one son, Fred F. Ferree, and six grandchildren.
