Malcolm Isadore Pickett Sr., 56, died Thursday in a Clifton Forge hospital. He was a mechanic for Westvaco, Inc.

Surviving are his wife, Arlene May Pickett; a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Nagy, Lakewood, N.J.; a son, Malcolm I. Pickett, Jr., Covington; two sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Lawson, Miss Alma Pickett, Austinville; four brothers, Basil Pickett, Brandywine, Md., Carl Pickett, Bascom Pickett, Austinville, Maynard Pickett, Woodlawn.

The funeral was Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Arritt Funeral Chapel with burial in Alleghany Memorial Park.u
