Carol Ann Stanaback, 72, of Inverness Florida, went to be with our lord on Jan. 30, 2015. She was surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born on Jan. 9, 1943, in Fall River, Massachusetts, and was the daughter of Howard and Rita Chace. She moved to Inverness, from Pompton Lakes, New Jersey, in 1987, with her loving husband, Louis. Carol and Louis were married "50" wonderful, happy years. Carol worked as a nurse for Avante at Inverness for twenty years before retiring in 2011. She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling to the Tennessee mountains, researching her family lineage, spending time with her dog Tanner, and just enjoying life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Louis Stanaback of Inverness; four children, Pamela Helton of Crystal River, Kim-Marie Dakake of New Jersey, Alan Stanaback of New Jersey, and Brian Stanaback of Florida; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Chace, A.J, McKenzie, Sean, Ashlee, and Adam.
A private family service will be held Feb. 2, 2015, at Strickland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, make donations to hospice of Citrus County. Arrangements are under the direction of Strickland Funeral Home and Crematory, Crystal River.
