Ernest was born in Branchdale, July 6, 1936.
He was a Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Reading.
Surviving are his children, Ernest Schlottman and Wendy Laity, both of Schuylkill Haven, two granddaughters, a sister Elsie and very good friends, Fred and Ann Marie Wrobel, Reading.
Services was private with burial in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
