COWDER

Lizzie A. Cowder, wife of Harry F. Cowder, died Sunday May 30, at her home on Daisy Street. She was born December 14, 1865, in Lancaster County, Pa., and was married December 25, 1890. The family came to Clearfield in 1901. She was of an amiable home loving disposition and devoted herself to the care of her family. Mrs. Cowder is survived by her mother, Mrs. Kate Lanius, who has made her home with the Cowder family ever since the marriage of her daughter. Beside the husband the following children survive: Chester, Veryl, Ethel, Bernard and Luther. Two children preceded her in their infancy. Her passing is a sadblow to this devoted family and they have the heartful sympathy of all in their loss.

Interment will be made in the Clearfield cemetery, after services in the Eleventh Street Methodist church, Wednesday, June 2, at 2 o'clock

“ A precious one from us is gone, A voice we love isstilled, A place is vacant in our home which never can be filled.”
“ God in his wisdom has recalled the boon his love has given. And though the body slumber here. The Soul is safe in heaven.”
