Judy Churchman Lowe, wife, mother, nana, and amazing woman, departed this world on September 13 after a short, but courageous battle with lung cancer. A 15-year breast cancer survivor, she was an avid crafter and crocheter. She lived and worked in Havre de Grace, MD, and Conowingo, MD, for 40 years. Judy lived a full life and was loved by many, especially her family, the children from her in-home daycare, and her children’s friends. A woman of faith, she was giving and generous and would do for others without hesitation. She regularly made blankets and donated them to battered women’s groups.

Judy is survived by her husband of 40 years, her daughter and son-in-law, her son and daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, her sister, her brother,and her best friend,

In lieu of flowers, please send donations in her name to the Johns Hopkins Breast Center c/o Lillie Shockney, 601 North Caroline Street, Baltimore, MD 21287.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 20, 2013, 10 AM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 19, 2013, 7 PM until 9 PM, at the funeral home. Pastor Dennis Gilbert of Charlestown Missonary Baptist, will officiate. Interment will be in Angel Hill Cemetery of Havre de Grace, MD.
