Harold Anthony Wiese was born to Henry and Rose (Borer) Wiese in Madison County, Nebraska.

In 1930, Harold and his family were living on a farm in Platte County, Nebraska. His parents were born in Nebraska, as were Harold and all his siblings: Edward, 11; William, 9; Raymond, 7; sister Beda, 6; Harold himself, 3; Richard, 1.

On December 15, 1943, this blue-eyed, blonde young farmer walked into the WWII draft registration office. He said he was working for his father, Henry Wiese, and their address was R.F.D. 1, Lindsay, Nebraska. The clerk noted that Harold had a ruddy complexion, weighed 135 lbs and stood 5'7" high.

He was 24 when he married Eloise Shultz in June, 1950.

By 1986, Harold was living at 1879 S. 126th Street, Omaha, Nebraska.
