This is a son of Clarence Arlington Lee and Angela Maria Suozzo and twin brother to John R Lee.

According to family stories, Angela was advised by her doctor not to breastfeed because of insufficient nutrition and told to use formula instead. Both infants became ill and were admitted to the hospital on Jan. 11, 1920. Joseph died March 1, 1920 at St. Christopher Hospital and his twin brother, John, died just 16 days later. The death certificate for both children says the boys suffered from gastroenteritis (under 2 yrs). Family stories say the twins died after ingesting bad formula or having a bad reaction to it.

They appear to be buried with their cousin by marriage, Louis Raimondi.
