Robin Elizabeth Cain was born August 11, 1954 in Garrison, N.D. to Ivan W. and Marjorie A. Cain. Robin lost her battle with cancer on April 21, 2006, but not without putting up a brave and determined fight! She was the third born of eight children, and was deeply loved and will be missed. Robin grew up in Oxnard, Calif. and moved to Boise, Idaho in 1976. She graduated from BSU in 1982 and worked for the Bon Marche for 20 years. In 2002 Robin went back to school and began an exciting career in Massage Therapy. She worked for Boise Therapeutic Massage Center (BTMC). BTMC actively worked in coordinating efforts to assist Robin with her illness. Her family is very grateful for all that you did! Robin was an extremely creative and active person. She enjoyed cooking and cross-country skiing, but her true passion belonged to running! She belonged to the Boise Fit Running Group and participated in many different runs. She qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2005, but was unable to participate due to her illness. Robin had wonderful friends and was a wonderful friend herself. She was very touched by all the love and support that was shown to her over the last six months. During this time Robin came to realize the importance of having a personal relationship with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother, and leaves behind five sisters, two brothers and 25 nieces and nephews.
