Mrs. Rosemary C. Herrington, 87, died Friday, January 30, 2014, at Neshoba General Nursing Home in Philadelphia, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 2nd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mason Joy officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Rosemary was born August 24, 1927, in Winston County, MS. She was a retired housekeeping supervisor with Tri-County Nursing Home, and was a member of East Louisville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Daryl Gladney and James E. “Jim” Herrington; her parents, Myrtle and Clyde Clement; and a step-daughter, Betsy Bearden.

Mrs. Herrington is survived by two sons, Donnie (Geraldine) Gladney of Lake, MS, and Steve (Sandra) Gladney of Starkville; a sister, Bobby Nell Pass of Louisville; four grandchildren, Nyka Duncan, Jeffrey Gladney, Emily Beamer, Maggie Gladney; and seven great grandchildren, Taylor Duncan, John Michael Duncan, Kate Gladney, Laney Gladney, Sutton Beamer, Olivia Beamer, and Hunter Beamer.
