She taught school in Garfield, Almota and Endicott, Washington. She and her husband Ash E. Cross made their home in Spokane for many years. He passed away in 1979.
In 1990 she moved to Lewiston's Regency Plaza Retirement Center, where she lived until entering the hospital.
Survivors include her son Ray Crisp, of Palm Harbor, Florida and her daughter Margaret (Mickey) Stehr of Lewiston, Idaho, step-daughter Helen Goodell of Spokane and step-daughter Marjorie Cross Reynolds, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Burial of her cremains will be at Fairmont Cemetery in Spokane, Washington
