Hazel Wallace Dean Berry, 92, of Rockport, Texas passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015.

Hazel was formally of Navasota and a longtime resident of Odessa, Texas.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, Elmer Dean of Haskell and Ray Berry of Odessa, two daughters Cindy Wright of Navasota and Sherry Dean of Odessa, Texas, six brothers and two sister.

Survived by one son, James Dean and wife Gloria of Tucson, AZ and one daughter Doris Bates and husband Donnie of Rockport, TX, 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

While living in Navasota, she was a pink lady volunteer at the Grimes St. Joseph Hospital. As a resident of Odessa, she enjoyed bowling, crafting, dancing and games. She was a member of VFW and Ladies Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star Friendship Chapter #1008 and the Ector County Home Extension Club.

Burial will be in Odessa with a viewing at the Hubbard-Kelly Funeral home from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 and a graveside service at Ector County Cemetery Odessa Section on Feb. 5, 2015.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of the Hazel Berry Memorial, 900 Enterprise Blvd., Rockport, TX 78382 or to the charity of your choice.
