Mrs. Guthman, 25, Succumbs
Mrs. Elwood Guthman, 25, died at her home, 604 Van Buren Ave. SW, Tuesday morning following a lingering illness. She had been a resident of Mason City for the past 10 years.
Mrs. Guthman was born at Wellsburg, Iowa, 26 October 1917.
Surviving are her husband, Elwood Guthman, with the United States Armed Forces in Africa; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Lowe, Mason city; and two brothers, Bryan and Raymond Lowe, in the Army.
She was preceded in death by a sister in 1925.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
