Ronnie was born June 10, 1940, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Herman Hammon and Annie Holverson Hammon. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls. He lived most of his life in Idaho Falls, except for brief periods in California and Washington.
Ronnie worked as a painter at the INL and for Kofoed Painting.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, and painting pictures.
Ronnie is survived by
son, Herman Hammon of Hayward, CA,
son, Ronnie Hammon, Jr. of Portland, OR,
son, Ryan (Janet) Charboneau of Idaho Falls, ID,
sister, Georgia "Dode" Carpenter of Everett, WA.
and seven grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents and five siblings, Stella Rich, Corky Hammon, Willie Hammon, Jimmie Hammon Sr, and Eddie Hammon
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Memorial Team and Idaho Honor Guard.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the ICU unit at EIRMC and especially to Dr. John Miller.
