Lola A. Fichter, 82, a retired registered nurse formerly of Quincy, died at 12:40 a.m. Friday (Nov. 25, 1994) in the Country Aire Retirement Estates in Lewistown, Mo.
Born Nov. 26, 1911, in Mount Sterling, Mrs. Fichter was a daughter of Edward and Pina Waters Lane. She married John Fichter on June 27, 1941, in Old Monroe, Mo. He died Aug. 19, 1979.
Mrs. Fichter was a Catholic.
Survivors include a daughter, Julie Turner of Quincy; a brother, Edward Lane of Quincy; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Roberts of Barry, Mrs. Virgil (Nola) Brown of Quincy and Mrs. Frank (Betty) Greene of Springfield, and two granddaughters, Amy Turner of Ozark, Mo., and Amanda Turner of Quincy.
Mrs. Fichter was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home by the Rev. Brian Stone. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Country Aire Retirement Estates.
